Families often comment on her warm, engaging presence and her ability to help even the most hesitant children feel understood and supported.
A Certified DIRFloortime® Speech Pathologist, Kaitlyn is deeply passionate about early intervention and working alongside neurodivergent children and their families. She has extensive experience supporting minimal and non-speaking autistic children, using relationship-based, play-rich approaches to build communication, engagement, and meaningful interactions. Kaitlyn is continually expanding her clinical knowledge and is currently completing a Masters in Play Therapy, blending evidence-based play principles with her speech pathology expertise to help children thrive.
Alongside her clinical work, Kaitlyn is a dedicated mentor for early-career speech pathologists. She supports clinicians to build confidence in delivering neuroaffirming, play-based interventions, offering a safe and reflective space to explore tricky clinical questions. Her mentoring focuses on practical strategies, clear communication with families, resource use, therapy planning, and sustainable practice habits that protect wellbeing and reduce burnout. Her goal is to help every therapist feel empowered, capable, and deeply connected to their work.
Outside the clinic, Kaitlyn enjoys gardening, cooking, and spending time with her miniature sausage dogs, Pickles and Lulu.
Kaitlyn brings warmth, skill, and an infectious enthusiasm to everything she does — making her an invaluable clinician, mentor, and support for children, families, and therapists alike.
