- Master of Speech Pathology
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) – Speech Pathology Australia
Abby is a vibrant and compassionate speech pathologist who brings joy, energy, and genuine connection to every session she runs at Echo Speech. Originally from Bathurst, she settled into Port Stephens with ease and quickly became a cherished member of our team — and a favourite among the children she supports. Her infectious laugh, positive attitude, and playful therapeutic style help children feel instantly comfortable, making sessions both motivating and full of smiles.
A proud mum herself, Abby understands the real-life challenges and triumphs that families experience. This empathy guides her warm, family-centred approach to therapy. She is deeply committed to ongoing learning and is currently undertaking advanced study in paediatric feeding and swallowing to better support children with feeding challenges, mealtime anxieties, and food exploration needs. Abby’s interest in early intervention and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) also drives much of her practice, allowing her to support a wide range of developmental needs with confidence, creativity, and evidence-based strategies.
Children are naturally drawn to Abby’s bubbly personality, humour, and gentle encouragement, while parents value her ability to make therapy feel achievable, supportive, and grounded in everyday routines. Her dedication to upskilling ensures families receive knowledgeable, thoughtful care tailored to their child’s unique strengths.
Outside the clinic, Abby loves all things health and fitness, spending time with her many sisters, and embracing coastal life with her family. Whether she’s helping a child try a new food, cheering on early communication successes, or sharing a laugh with her loved ones, Abby brings warmth, kindness, and unwavering enthusiasm to everything she does.
