Rebecca Dunning Speech Pathology

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology)
  • Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) – Speech Pathology Australia

Rebecca Dunning is a highly skilled and deeply compassionate speech pathologist who brings a wealth of knowledge and clinical expertise to her role at Echo Speech. Families instantly connect with Bec’s warmth, friendliness, and calm presence, and children adore her gentle encouragement and ability to make every session both fun and meaningful.

Bec has a genuine love for working with children and finds enormous joy in helping them feel successful, capable, and proud of their achievements. She cherishes the relationships she builds with both her clients and their families, valuing the opportunity to make a practical and lasting difference in their daily lives. Her approach is grounded in empathy, connection, and a belief that every child deserves opportunities to shine.

One of Bec’s greatest passions is supporting children to become confident readers and writers. She has a remarkable talent for breaking down the complexities of literacy phonics, spelling, sentence structure, and written expression into accessible, engaging lessons that build skills step-by-step. Bec loves helping children discover their unique voice as writers, encouraging their creativity while giving them the tools they need to organise ideas, craft sentences, and express themselves with clarity and confidence. Her sessions often become a place where children realise, sometimes for the first time, that writing can be enjoyable, purposeful, and even exciting.

Bec’s blend of expertise, creativity, and heartfelt commitment makes her an inspiring clinician and a treasured member of the Echo Speech team. We are incredibly grateful to have her — and families who work with her quickly feel the same.
