Abby Cawthorne

Abby Cawthorne

Abby is a vibrant and compassionate speech pathologist who brings joy and energy to every session she runs at Echo Speech. Originally from Bathurst, Abby made the move to Port Stephens and quickly became a loved member of our team—and a favourite among the kids she supports.

A proud mum herself, Abby understands the highs and lows of parenting and brings that empathy and insight into her therapy approach. She is constantly upskilling and diving deep into new areas of learning, especially in her area of special interest: paediatric feeding and eating. Abby is currently undertaking further study in this field to better support families navigating mealtimes, feeding challenges, and food exploration.

Known for her infectious laugh, positive attitude, and great sense of humour, Abby keeps therapy fun, motivating, and full of smiles. Children are instantly drawn to her bubbly personality and playful style, making it easy for them to feel comfortable and engaged during sessions.

Outside of the clinic, Abby loves all things health and fitness, spending time with her many sisters, and soaking up coastal life with her family. Whether she’s hitting the gym, sharing a laugh with her loved ones, or helping a little one try a new food, Abby brings warmth, dedication, and a true passion for helping children thrive.

We’re lucky to have Abby as part of our team, and we know the families who work with her will feel the same.
